ALDASPAN Ethno-Rock Band Receives Grant from the First President of Kazakhstan Foundation The Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Leader of the Nation has awarded a grant for the creative project “Recording and Presentation of a CD Album” to the ethno-rock band ALDASPAN. The grant was awarded to the band’s leader, toishy Nurzhan Tasbolatovich, in support of a project aimed at promoting national culture through contemporary musical expression. The project includes the recording and release of a CD album as well as its public presentation. The Foundation’s support represents a significant contribution to the preservation and development of Kazakhstan’s ethnic music heritage. The project was implemented with the support of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Almaty, 2012.
